Gervasi Vineyard: A Destination Wedding Right Here in Ohio

Destination weddings are beautiful, but some guests may not be able to get the funds or the time off to make it to your wedding. Therefore, you should expect an intimate ceremony and reception of 50 guests or less. But if you’ve always imagined a large wedding surrounded by everyone you love, you don’t have to sacrifice the destination feel! Simply contact Gervasi Vineyard.

A Local Destination

Located in Canton, Gervasi is in the heart of Northeast Ohio. However, you and your guests will feel like you’ve been transported to Tuscany. It sits on 55 acres of Italian-inspired architecture, with a beautiful lake and rows of grape vines as far as the eye can see.

“Gervasi Vineyard truly is a one of a kind destination winery in Northeast Ohio. Ceremonies, receptions, and rehearsal dinners are just a portion of what this beautiful property has to offer to our guests,” assures Nichole Cardinale, Director of Marketing. “Along with a unique vineyard, we also have three restaurants on-site to enjoy, and luxurious overnight accommodations.” Whether you’re at cocktail hour on the piazza, enjoying a gourmet rehearsal dinner at The Crush House, hosting a bridal shower at The Bistro, or staying the night in one of the gorgeous villas, you’ll truly feel like you’re in Italy without ever leaving Ohio!

Versatile Venue Options

Unlike an exotic destination, Ohio weather is not something to be relied upon. That’s why Gervasi has both indoor and outdoor options! Choose from an elaborate ballroom, an intimate greenhouse, or an outdoor pavilion. Plus, with gorgeous arches and scenic views, you can say I Do by the lake! Nichole also reminds couples that “Our spaces are very versatile, and can be used in a variety of different themes and styles. (i.e. rustic, barn, elegant, traditional, vintage, al fresco, etc.).”

Pavilion

This stone and stucco structure is open on each side, offering panoramic views of the lake and estate. It’s only available between May and October, but even then, Gervasi has a plan in case of increment weather. Each opening has shades that can be lowerd to create a barrier, perfect for rain or wind. “Additionally, we have heaters to offer should it get cooler in the evening,” Nichole assures couples. “We also have a weather back-up in both venues for a ceremony.”

Villa Grande

This space is best for smaller weddings, as it can hold between 60 and 100 guests. It’s perfect for small luncheons or brunches, rehearsal dinners, and bridal showers. The ballroom features stucco walls and rustic chandeliers with a stone fireplace and outdoor veranda.

Conservatory

Finally, for year-round access to the outdoors, choose the Conservatory! This greenhouse is temperature regulated, and offers 360 degree views with floor-to-ceiling windows. It can accommodate 10-40 guests for an intimate ceremony.

Experience & Guidance

One thing most couples don’t realize about Gervasi, Nichole says, is that they offer on-site coordination. “From the moment our couples visit our venues to the time they walk in their ceremony rehearsal, our focus is on making their wedding day one of the most memorable days of their lives.” They’ll work hard to make your wedding worry-free, so you can just relax and enjoy! “The quality of service and detail given by our event coordinators to each couple truly helps relieve the pressure of planning the perfect day. On-site coordination is one of a kind and can help guarantee that the couple enjoys the entire day from start to finish!”
