From the bride: “Our wedding day is two years and two days from our first in-person meeting. We met on match.com, though we discovered on our first date that my sister is one of Jon’s 19 co-workers. Our first in-person meeting was at Sand Run Park, and since then the outdoors and parks have been very important to us. We got engaged at Cascade Valley park, so we knew we wanted to get married outside and were very excited to get married at Stan Hywet!” 
“Jon and I both love color, especially bright colors, and thus our five wedding colors! We couldn’t decide on two, so we picked all our favorites!”
“Jon made a sign that says ‘Mr & Mrs’ that lights up, which we used at the reception hall. I asked him to make a light-up sign for the reception hall, and he surprised me with it one day when I was working late. My sister Anna made our cake topper. We used a small cake from Tiffany’s for the cake cutting, and ice cream cake from Cold Stone for our guests.”
Advice from her: “Take time to stop and spend time with your fiance. After all, you are planning an event that will be celebrating your love, so make sure to take some time off from wedding planning and have fun. All of your plans will come together in the end!”
Advice from him: “Think of something that rhymes with ‘husband’… you will hear ‘happy wife, happy life’ a lot!”
