Navy was definitely the new black this year in weddings, and their wedding is proof of that! Their Proposal Story:
“It was Mario’s birthday, June 5th, and we decided to go have dinner at the place where we had our first date at Fairmount in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. It’s a place that we try to go to for special occasions. When we got to the restaurant, Mario stopped me in the parking lot where we had our first kiss. He asked if I remembered our first kiss, and I said of course, and we kissed in that spot. After we kissed, he hugged me and wouldn’t let go – after that, he got down on one knee and proposed.”
Planning Advice From The Couple:
“Stay within your budget! Be honest with your vendors at the onset of what your cap is. You’ll get to a point a few days before the wedding where you’re so incredibly stressed – just breathe through it, because soon after that is a moment where you realize that everything is going to be okay and you no longer have much control over everything anyway.
Don’t stress and be present. Take mental snapshots of the day.
Ask for help from your wedding party. Our friends were so great about checking in on us during the chaos of the day, so don’t be afraid to ask for things when you need it.
Write a list of the things that you know you don’t want to forget, but you might. Give it to the most reliable person in your wedding party who can help keep you on track during the day.”
