Lydia and Zeke’s Real Wedding | Canton, Ohio
Lydia and Zeck’s colorful wedding was a joyful, vibrant celebration held at the stunning Gervasi Vineyard in Canton, Ohio. Embracing the playful theme “When Life Gives You Lehmans” (a play on their last name), the day was bursting with laughter, love, and a touch of lemon decor throughout. From a romantic ceremony setting with live strings to a high-energy reception with dancing, bold florals, and heartfelt moments, every detail reflected the couple’s fun-loving personality and deep connection.
How they met
Some love stories are written in the stars. Others begin at a wrestling tournament. Lydia and Zeck first crossed paths while cheering on their brothers from the bleachers of a high school wrestling match. As soon as Zeck saw Lydia, he turned to his mom and confidently declared he was going to marry her. Later that same day, their families grabbed lunch (without Lydia!), and their parents started plotting to set them up. Safe to say… it worked.
Years later, Zeck proposed to Lydia at one of their favorite places in the world: his family’s lake house. He chose a spot with deep personal meaning, the exact place where his parents were married years before. Now, every time they visit, they’re reminded of their own engagement story and the legacy of love that surrounds them.

GETting ready
The bride’s silky dress from Harper + Ivory was paired with a beautiful veil and a few eye-catching pieces of jewelry. Her bridesmaids were in various shades and patterns of blue. Have you ever heard the saying, “Something old, something new. Something borrowed, something blue”? Consider your bridesmaids to be your something blue!
The groom wore a striking white suit with black accents from Savile Lane.
The couple each opened a gift before the ceremony, which contained bracelets.

Lydia’s advice to other couples: “Trust your gut! This is the one time you get to really have a vision and carry it through to completion—you only get one wedding, so make sure it’s you!”
Gervasi Vineyard provided the perfect backdrop for Lydia and Zeck’s colorful wedding day. Nestled in the heart of Canton, Ohio, this venue offers a romantic blend of Tuscan-inspired architecture, lush vineyards, and serene lake views. With its all-in-one convenience and timeless charm, Gervasi made every part of the day feel effortlessly elegant.
The reception
The reception was nothing short of unforgettable. An evening filled with pure joy, laughter, and nonstop celebration. From the moment guests entered the beautifully decorated space at Gervasi, the energy was electric. Colorful florals, heartfelt toasts, and an incredible dinner set the tone, but it was the packed dance floor that truly stole the show. With music by Selective Sound Events, everyone joined in the fun. While it was catered by Gervasi, the cake pops from Daisy Pops were a delicious choice. The night overflowed with love and so much dancing, making it a reception Lydia and Zeck (and their guests) will never forget.
