Intimate Vow Renewal
A styled shoot that doubled as a vow renewal? Talk about a win-win! This beautiful shoot at the Metropolitan at the 9 in Downtown Cleveland showcased talented local vendors while serving as a beautiful scene for this gorgeous couple to express their love and gratitude for each other while renewing their vows.
Featuring a moody color palette and luxurious details (like a live painter!), this shoot-turned-renewal has all the makings of an upscale micro-wedding, a style which is majorly trending right now!
Enjoy this glimpse into real couple Michael and Angelique’s wedding story and the incredible intimate wedding inspiration that comes along with it! You might just find yourself hopping on the micro-wedding trend.
The vision for this shoot came from the idea of bringing an actual art gallery into your wedding space, surrounding yourself with beauty and grace on your special day. And with the live artist as well as art installations by Elbowgrease Designs, the goal was certainly met.
This styled shoot was planned to address the lack of inclusion and representation in the wedding industry. In the height of the Black Lives Matter movement last summer, Dragonfly Photography gathered a team of professionals (50% of them being black owned businesses!) to create something that would showcase the beauty of black love and an intimate wedding for a couple of color.
