We were married under a big oak tree on the lawn at the Hunt Club. Dinner was served family style at long wooden farm tables wrapping around the porch, and the East Coast Custard Ice Cream truck showed up for late night ice cream!”

I managed to say raspy vows during the ceremony and the rest of the night I just smiled and ‘talked’ to guests through the notepad I carried around with me. I was naturally upset at first, but if anything it forced me to relax and just observe and take in the whole evening – which was fun and flawless. I still managed to fully enjoy myself, despite having no voice!” Genevieve Nisly PhotographyGenevieve Nisly Photography

Advice from her: “All the details are fun and make a wedding unique and wonderful – but don’t stress about them too much! All that matters is that you are marrying the one you love. Your guests won’t remember the little things!”

Advice from him: “Make time for you and your bride to take a moment during the reception to step back and watch everyone having a good time. It all goes by so fast.”Genevieve Nisly PhotographyGenevieve Nisly PhotographyGenevieve Nisly Photography
