Wedding Theme: Classic, vintage
Wedding Colors: Blue, ivory, pink, gold
From the bride: “We knew our wedding would be large, and we wanted to make sure that it was still personal and intimate to both of us. With this, we also wanted to respect our Italian heritage, honor Maria’s father who had passed away a year earlier, and provide Tom’s family with a unique Cleveland experience. From venue and vendor selection to small details, we kept all of this in mind.”
“Both of us enjoy cooking and we knew we had to have great and traditional Italian food at our wedding. Gallucci’s went above and beyond to provide us with amazing Italian food and outstanding service. Michael Angelo’s provided the traditional Italian desserts and Cassata cake.”
“Our favors were bottles of handmade Limoncello made by Maria’s mom. The red wine served was made by Maria’s father before he passed.”
“Our church, venue and items in our hotel bags provided a Cleveland experience for our out-of-town guests. Maria had always wanted to get married at Holy Rosary church, having fond memories of her family going to church and walking the procession every year for the Feast of the Assumption. The Courthouse was a perfect central downtown venue, and Maria had memories of spending time here in the law library while interning during law school.”
Advice from her: “Keep it simple, and don’t try to cater to everyone else’s needs. Your guests are there for you and your groom and to celebrate your marriage. Also, get a day-of wedding planner – it was by far one of the best decisions we made and helped make our day less stressful.”
Advice from him: “Identify what is a priority to you and your future wife and make sure it happens. And, as much as I fought it, get a day-of wedding planner.”
