Wedding Theme: A Married Christmas
From the Bride: “Our theme was “A Married Christmas”. To achieve this, we incorporated a lot of Christmas details into our decorations and apparel. For example, we gave away ornaments as favors and attempted to make the ceremony and reception as “wintery” as possible by adding in poinsettias and snow covered trees for table centerpieces. Christmas carols were played prior to the bridal march and during the cocktail hour, and candy cane colored mints were a recurring theme (they were on our save the dates, wedding invitations, RSVP cards, etc.). Also, our wedding cake was made to look like a candy cane mint, complete with poinsettias and Christmas foliage surrounding it.”
