Real Bride Blogger: Lynn & Jim's Wedding
It’s not very often that one of your fashion show models gets married … but when they do, you should absolutely take advantage and have them document their wedding planning experience. That’s exactly what we did when we heard Lynn — one of our long-time show models — was engaged!
Since October, Lynn & her now-husband Jim have been documenting their planning experience on our blog! Talking about everything from selecting the dresses and cake to dealing with emergency situations, Lynn and Jim disclosed the amazing and even sometimes not-so-amazing sides of planning a wedding.
We are so grateful for their openness and willingness to share with us, so now we want to share the beautiful end result with all of our readers!
Lynn and Jim said their “I dos” on Saturday, June 7th, 2014. It was a day full of beauty and love — right from the beginning of the touching outdoor ceremony down to the final dance of the night. A few wow pieces of the day included full chevron linens, romantic floral arrangements, a gorgeous cake and, of course, Lynn’s two-piece dress that enabled her to go from full & dreamy to short and sassy for the reception.
But the greatest of details? The love that was shared between Lynn, Jim and all of their loved ones.
From the Bride & Groom
What was the most memorable part of the day for you? Jim: “Seeing Lynn walking down the aisle, looking so beautiful in her dress.” Lynn: “Walking down the aisle to Jim and seeing his reaction to my dress and how I looked.”
What single piece of advice would you offer to newly engaged couples? Lynn: “If something goes wrong on your wedding day don’t sweat over it because you are the only ones who know what’s wrong.” Jim: “Have fun!”
Congratulations to the happy couple!
