Position Overview
In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business for Today’s Bride. You’ll research prospective wedding professionals, reach out through phone, email, social media, networking, and referrals, and guide prospects through the full sales process, from the initial conversation through a signed agreement.
You’ll learn about each business’s goals and recommend the Today’s Bride bridal shows, print, digital marketing, and lead-generation opportunities that best fit their needs. You’ll play a key role in growing our business by building strong partnerships with wedding professionals throughout Northeast Ohio.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify and research prospective wedding businesses throughout Northeast Ohio
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential advertising and event partners
- Prospect through phone calls, email outreach, social media, networking, and referrals
- Start meaningful conversations with business owners and decision-makers
- Learn about prospective partners’ goals, challenges, and marketing needs
- Recommend Today’s Bride wedding shows, print advertising, digital marketing, and lead generation opportunities based on each prospect’s needs.
- Present pricing, prepare proposals, respond to objections, and ask for the sale
- Close new business and achieve established sales and revenue goals
- Maintain accurate records and activity within the CRM
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop outreach strategies and identify target markets
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in full-cycle sales, business development, outbound sales, inside sales, advertising sales, or a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, cold call, qualify leads, and develop new business
- Confidence speaking with business owners and decision-makers by phone, email, video, and in person
- Ability to conduct a consultative sales conversation and recommend solutions based on a prospect’s needs
- Comfortable presenting pricing, responding to objections, following up, and asking for the sale
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization, time-management, and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple prospects and stages of the sales pipeline simultaneously
- Comfortable using a CRM and learning new systems
- Reliable transportation for local networking, meetings, and Today’s Bride events
Experience in advertising, media, events, hospitality, or the wedding industry is helpful but not required. More importantly, we’re looking for someone who understands how to build relationships, create opportunities, and generate new business.
What We Offer:
- Base salary + uncapped commission
- First-year earning potential: $60,000-$90,000 based on performance

Account Manager (Client Success & Growth)

We’re looking for a relationship-focused Account Manager to help our Today’s Bride partners maximize their investment with Today’s Bride and achieve meaningful business growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, solving problems, helping clients succeed, and identifying opportunities for growth.
Position Overview
As an Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of Today’s Bride partners. Your mission is to ensure every client is fully utilizing their marketing programs, generating value from their investment, and receiving exceptional support throughout the year.
You’ll guide partners through bridal show preparation, website profile optimization, lead management, and marketing best practices while identifying opportunities for renewals and expanded partnerships.
What You’ll Do:
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned Today’s Bride partners
- Build strong, long-term relationships with business owners and decision-makers
- Conduct regular check-ins to discuss goals, performance, and opportunities
- Provide proactive support and guidance throughout the year
- Respond promptly to client questions and concerns
Growth & Retention
- Manage contract renewals and retention efforts
- Identify opportunities to expand client participation through additional shows, advertising, sponsorships, and marketing programs
- Present recommendations that align with each client’s business goals
- Track renewal timelines and proactively manage account growth opportunities
Client Success & Onboarding
- Help new partners successfully launch and navigate their Today’s Bride marketing programs
- Train clients on how to access and utilize leads through the Vendor Dashboard
- Assist partners with updating and optimizing their online profiles
- Share best practices for show success, lead follow-up, and marketing strategy
- Monitor client engagement and proactively reach out when usage is low
Bridal Show Preparation
- Ensure partners are prepared and confident before each bridal show
- Communicate important deadlines and event information
- Assist with booth planning, promotions, and show readiness
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth exhibitor experience

Independent Advertising Sales Representative (Contractor/1099)

We are seeking a motivated, independent sales professional to generate new business and sell exhibitor booth space for our upcoming bridal shows.
Position Overview
As an Independent Advertising Sales Representative, you will identify and connect with businesses that could benefit from participating in a Today’s Bride Wedding Show. You will manage the full sales process—from prospecting and initial outreach through follow-up and closing the sale.
This is a commission-only independent contractor opportunity with a flexible schedule and no cap on earnings. It is ideal for a self-motivated salesperson who is confident picking up the phone, building relationships, and asking for the sale.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify and research prospective wedding vendors throughout Northeast Ohio
- Prospect through cold calls, email, social media, networking, and referrals

What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in outside sales, inside sales, advertising sales, event sales, business development, or a related field

- A proactive, persistent, and self-directed approach to sales
- Excellent organization and follow-through
- Ability to independently manage a pipeline and sales activity

Compensation:

Marketing & Operations Project Assistant (Part Time)

We’re looking for an organized, resourceful, and highly dependable project assistant who enjoys turning a list of ideas and assignments into completed work. This role is ideal for someone who can manage a variety of creative, marketing, administrative, and website-related projects, work independently, and consistently meet agreed-upon deadlines.
Position Overview
As our Marketing & Operations Project Assistant, you will help Today’s Bride complete important projects that support our sales, marketing, events, and client-service efforts.
Assignments will be provided with a defined objective, deadline, available resources, and approval process. Projects may include creating graphics, formatting PDFs, preparing email campaigns, executing B2B social media content, updating website pages, organizing information, and handling other administrative or marketing assignments.
The type and volume of work may vary from week to week. The right person is comfortable moving between different kinds of projects, learning new systems, asking thoughtful questions, and taking ownership of assignments from start to finish.
What You’ll Do:
- Complete assigned marketing, administrative, creative, and digital projects by agreed-upon deadlines
- Create and resize on-brand graphics for email, social media, sales materials, and events
- Format presentations, sales sheets, checklists, guides, and other PDF materials
- Draft, build, proofread, and prepare email campaigns for approval and distribution
- Create and schedule B2B social media content designed to reach wedding professionals
- Make routine website updates, including editing copy, images, links, and page information
- Research businesses, organize prospect or client information, and assist with database cleanup
- Prepare documents, templates, spreadsheets, and internal reference materials
- Organize digital assets and maintain clear, accessible project files
- Proofread materials for accuracy, consistency, spelling, links, dates, and brand alignment
- Track assignments, communicate progress, and raise questions or roadblocks before they affect a deadline
- Document repeatable processes and help improve internal organization
- Assist with other clearly defined projects based on current company priorities
What We’re Looking For:
- At least two years of experience in an executive-assistant, marketing-assistant, project-coordination, virtual-assistant, or similar role
- Demonstrated ability to independently complete projects and meet deadlines
- Strong written communication, proofreading, and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, polished work
- Experience creating professional graphics and formatted business materials
- Comfort working with email-marketing platforms, website content-management systems, spreadsheets, shared documents, and project-management tools
- Ability to learn unfamiliar software and processes quickly
- Good judgment about when to work independently and when to request clarification
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with different priorities and deadlines
- Reliable communication and consistent follow-through
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, website editing, email marketing, B2B social media, advertising, media, events, hospitality, or the wedding industry is helpful but not required. More importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes ownership, solves problems, and gets projects across the finish line.
Employment & Work Arrangement:
- This is a part-time position averaging approximately 15-20 hours per week
- Work may be completed in a remote arrangement
- The employee must be available for agreed-upon check-ins and occasional time-sensitive assignments
- Compensation is $20/hour
- Occasional in-person attendance at meetings or Today’s Bride events in Northeast Ohio may be requested
