From the bride: “We planned out every detail from start to finish. We wanted to have a memorable, personable day, where we included each one of our family members and friends.”
“Everything sparkled — we had crystals everywhere, and our friends and family helped us light up the room! It was really important to us to put our touch on everything — from the notes on the tables; to the Italian bomboniere (a gift for our guests); to our signature drink (inspired by the bride’s mom); to the reminders of our lost loved ones; to the specialized props in the photo booth; to the napkins that thanked our parents for making us who were are today; to the Ninja Turtle on top of the groom’s cake; to the specialized desserts made by Bruno’s mom. We didn’t want to only make this the event of the season; we wanted this event to be as unique as we are.”
Advice from Her: “Get a good photographer, a great videographer, and make sure that the food is incredible and the bartender can pour a good drink! But, in all seriousness, the details do matter. People are still talking about our Italian cookie table, the notes we left on the tables to the guests, the entrance that we had, the bathroom baskets, our toasts, etc. Every detail and every thought you put into it will be remembered! Above all, remember that this is the biggest party of your life and the most special day in the world — enjoy it!”
Advice from Him: “It’s your day, but it’s her day, too — let her have what she wants because if you do it right, you only do it once! Also, when she says you need a videographer, she’s right. The day goes so fast; you don’t remember anything!”
