5 Reasons to Attend a Bridal Show

Share:

Whether you just got engaged or your wedding is a week away, attending a bridal show can be an incredibly helpful part of the process. Read on to find out five reasons why a bridal show is a must for engaged couples.

#1 They Save You Time by Offering One-Stop Shopping

Where else will you find a DJ, a photographer, and a cake company all within 50 feet of each other? With so many options under one roof, a bride can plan her entire wedding in just one day. You could spend weeks running around the city, trying to remember what you saw and with whom you spoke, but that’s not productive. Instead, attend a bridal show – where numerous wedding professionals are waiting to help you. And who doesn’t love saving that much time? You’ll finally be able to squeeze in that girl’s night you’ve been craving!

#2 They Showcase the Latest Trends!

The fashion shows and galleries will give you the opportunity to see some of the newest styles in bridal, bridesmaids, and other formal wear. The gowns are paired with trendy flower bouquets and tuxedos for the groom. As you walk around the show, you’ll also be able to see what’s hot in invitation designs, cakes, reception decor, and hairstyles – among many other new trends! Check out the galleries from our past shows for highlights of what to expect!

#3 They’re Full of Freebies!

On the day of the show, you’ll encounter different giveaways, prizes, and show specials offered by the exhibitors. You may win valuable wedding services or save hundreds of dollars! Along with those specials, you’re guaranteed to have your fair share of food samples throughout the day. And we can’t blame you for wanting to try all the cake samples. Cakes are pretty, but they can be pretty yummy, too!

#4 They Allow You to Meet Vendors Face-to-Face!

You can learn a lot by looking through someone’s website. But talking to a vendor in-person leaves a completely different impression. Bridal shows give you the opportunity to meet prospective vendors face-to-face and get a feel for their personality. Use this time to ask questions, share ideas, and view samples of their work – after all, they’re there to help you.

#5 They Save You Money!

Along with saving you time, bridal shows will also help save you money. Not only will you not have to pay for the extra gas to get around, but you’ll also have the chance to score deals at the show! Many vendors promote different show specials and discounts for bridal shows. Even if your preferred vendors aren’t offering discounts that day, you’ll still be able to compare different portfolios and package prices – which helps you pick vendors who seem the most valuable to you.

If you’re a bride-to-be, a bridal show is an absolute must for your wedding planning needs! Make a day out of it by bringing along your wedding party, mom and mother-in-law, or fiance.

Thanks for pointing out that bridal shows often present better deals than you’re able to get normally, so it could be a good place to take care of several things at the same time. My fiancee is worrying about being able to organize and afford everything in time for the wedding later this year. Maybe finding an expo to go to would help us get going on that.
