What is Today’s Bride Magazine & Shows?
Today’s Bride Magazine & Shows is Northeast Ohio’s premier wedding resource, connecting engaged couples to local wedding professionals. By publishing an annual planning magazine and producing four to five bridal shows each year, Today’s Bride offers brides and grooms constant access to the latest trends and introduces them to experts in the field who can help create their dream wedding.

Today’s Bride Magazine is published in November and is distributed to local wedding businesses around Northeast Ohio to give to you for free! We also hand out a free magazine to each bride at every bridal show, and they are available for viewing online!
Where can I get a copy of the magazine?

What is a bridal show all about?
A bridal show is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a day out with your bridal party, mom, or fiancé! Get answers to your questions, advice from local wedding experts, and inspiration for your big day! You can taste catering and cake samples, see new trends, watch a fashion show, win prizes, watch demos, shop local vendors, and take advantage of discounts. With four to five bridal shows a year in Akron and Cleveland, Today’s Bride offers you the perfect opportunity to plan your entire wedding under one roof. Check out our upcoming show dates!
What should I bring to a bridal show?
We suggest bringing a pen & paper to take notes, your phone to add contacts and take pictures, and a calendar to make appointments. You may decide to make a deposit, so bring along your checkbook or credit card. Knowing your wedding date, color scheme, and bringing along a binder of inspiration can be a huge help when you’re trying to convey your ideas to vendors. Comfortable shoes are a must, and printed address labels that include your name, phone number, email, wedding date, and venue will ensure that your hand won’t cramp from the constant writing. No need to bring a bag to hold all your pamphlets and goodies—we provide those at the door! Check out our Bridal Survival Guide for more helpful tips!
Who should I bring to a bridal show?
That’s totally up to you! Whether it’s just you and your fiancé, your mom and maid/matron of honor, or your entire bridal party, we welcome anyone to our events! Children under 6 are free.
Can I bring children?
Children are welcome to attend our shows, and kids under 6 years old get in free! But because we suggest scheduling at least half a day for our shows, we do advise against bringing children because they tire easily. If you do decide to bring a little one along, keep in mind that strollers are hard to maneuver around the booths, displays, and the other guests.
What do I wear to the bridal show?
We don’t have a dress code, but we recommend being presentable as you’ll be meeting with people you may hire to work for you on your wedding day. Make sure you’re comfortable, though. You’ll be walking a lot! When you’re picking out an outfit, consider what you would wear if you were going to speak with a possible venue, DJ, or officiant—that’s exactly what you’ll be doing at one of our shows!

What is a Featured Partner and how can I become one?
The Today’s Bride Featured Partner Program is custom-designed and implemented to set your company apart from the competition. Unlike other awards or status honors, the program will be a proactive and ongoing initiative encouraging magazine readers, online visitors, and bridal show attendees to look for and choose Featured Partner companies affiliated with Today’s Bride – now and for years to come.
