Internships
Today’s Bride offers a variety of internship opportunities. Our interns are trained as part of the staff and their skills are put to use and they learn about the events, advertising, marketing and graphic design industries. These are non-paying internships, however the knowledge gained is invaluable. Spring, Summer and Fall interns are considered for part or full time employment.
Current internships available at Today’s Bride:
Do you have a passion for Wedding trends in Northeast Ohio? Today’s Bride has an internship open for this spring/summer semester for a journalism major who is in ”LOVE” with Weddings. The intern will develop content for our publications and online content. Start and end dates are flexible
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Write and edit Today’s Bride content such as blogs, magazine articles, emails, contracts, marketing materials, press releases, and surveys – will require strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

• Adhere to deadlines provided
• Support team members through fact checking, research, writing, and editing
• Administration skills will be necessary
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
• Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, English, business communications, or communication studies.
• Possess a strong desire to keep up with the latest wedding trends
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), as well as WordPress. Knowledge of Adobe Suites programs preferred.
• Internet savvy, including an understanding of and familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.
• Confident in correcting errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and context
• Basic understanding of SEO
• High level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently
