Sara & Christopher – Elegant with a Rustic Flare
Sara & Christopher’s wedding was straight out of a wedding blog dream — classy, elegant, rustic and, oh yeah, downright fun. Meanwhile, LMAC Photography was on hand to make sure every magical moment was snapped just perfectly.
Wedding Colors: Organic green, champagne & ivory
Wedding Vision: The bride’s champagne lace gown and the bridesmaids’ organic green taffeta dresses added a rustic flare to the groomsmen’s classic bowtie tuxedos.
From the Bride: “We decided to get married at St. Ignatius of Antioch in Cleveland, not only because it is a beautiful church, but also because the Reverend is my grandmother’s cousin, who also married my parents. ”
From the Bride: “The Brecksville Reservation’s railroad track & bridge were the perfect backdrop for our ‘elegantly rustic’ bridal party shots.”
From the Bride: “With an overwhelming amount of wedding ideas from Pinterest & social media, I decided to just focus on what I envisioned for my own wedding. I’m a country girl at heart, but I’m a sucker for classic & elegant wedding details. I loved that my wedding was a combination of the two.”
From the Bride: “My husband and I wanted to incorporate our love of wine into our wedding decor. We found mini wine bottles to use as favors with personalized labels. Bundles of corks held each table number, as well as the place cards. My crafty dad cut off the bottoms of over 25 wine bottles, and we placed candles inside each one to give a romantic glow. We also used engagement photos for decor, since they were taken at Wolf Creek Winery.”
Advice from her: “You will hear it quite often leading up to your wedding day, but it’s true: The day goes by so fast! Be sure to relax the morning of your wedding and trust your vendors — they are the experts. Embrace every moment of your wedding, and soak it all in. Hiring a fabulous photographer was the best decision we made because now we’re able to look back on the happiest day of our lives!”
Advice from him: “Be supportive during the wedding planning process … there really is a lot more planning involved than I ever imagined. Chances are she’ll end up doing most things herself, but it really goes a long way to offer your help.”
