Danielle & Steve – Winter Vintage Romance
John Paul Studios takes us on a journey of winter vintage romance in their latest wedding submission. Danielle & Steve’s big celebration was every bit as elegant as it was classic and personable. But don’t just take our word for it…
Wedding Theme: Winter Vintage
Wedding Colors: Rosewood, Gray & Ivory
From the Bride: “I added a personal touch by having my jewelry, flowers, programs and a few other details handmade by either myself, family or friends. My flowers were origami flowers that I made. I also made my birdcage veil and programs.”
From the Bride: “I did my own centerpieces and had a hot chocolate bar. Specialty linens and uplighting can transform a room. Don’t make your guests pay for alcohol.”
Advice from her: “Don’t stress too much. You are about the marry the man of your dreams! (P.S. If you question if he is the man of your dreams, walk away now.) Decide what is important to you to have for your wedding. You may need to make some budget cuts in other areas so decide what is a must and what you can live without. If anyone dislikes any of your wedding planning decisions, put your foot down. It’s your day! Don’t expect your bridesmaids to spend a huge amount of money on their dresses or other items. They love you but they have a life and bills of their own. Get all vendor negotiations in writing as you make them.”
Advice from him: “Don’t just get married because you think it’s ‘the next step.’ Marriage is a big decision. Make sure you are making it out of love, trust and happiness with the other person.”
