INCREDIBLE WEDDING VENUE
“The Lodge at Geneva on the Lake was an incredible wedding venue! The gazebo is a beautiful ceremony space overlooking Lake Erie. We initially met with Veronica Cure when touring the venue in December. Veronica helped us through the entire planning process and was responsive to any questions or concerns. She provided us with incredible recommendations of vendors to work with including Daughters Florist and Burning River Entertainment for décor. Veronica went above and beyond with day of coordination, making sure ceremony and reception spaces were set up beautifully and kept us on track with our timeline. Her and the Lodge were open to large last-minute changes that we decided to make to the reception. She also gave us a personal gift for our cat, Oliver, who was unable to attend. Veronica did an amazing job giving me and my husband the perfect wedding. Everybody mentioned how nice the ballroom space was for the reception, especially with the large attached patio which many of our guests used for relaxing and playing games. We would also like to recognize Dante the bartender who also went above and beyond for our group. I highly recommend Veronica and The Lodge for a wedding venue!
While our experience was incredible, we’d advise future weddings to consider a 5pm ceremony start time, over 4 or 430, as some of our guests were given differing information on whether they could check in early on the day of wedding. This gave some of our out of town guests concern on if they would be able to access their room to get dressed/refreshed before the wedding ceremony began.”
