Ars Elegante live music will add the final touch to your wedding and make a perfect soundtrack! Ars Elegante has been providing elegant live music for over 30 years to ceremonies, cocktail hours, receptions, and other events. Ars Elegante offers trio and duo ensembles that include flute with violin, cello, harp, and guitar. Solo ensembles include flute or Native American flute. Our repertoire includes classical, traditional, folk, opera, jazz and pop. A song list is available upon request, and we are happy to learn special requests. Ars Elegante musicians are conservatory-trained; many are members of the American Federation of Musicians. We bring a high level of musicianship and a lifetime of training to our performances.
Carla Holtz is a freelance flutist and teacher in the northeast Ohio area, with degrees in classical and jazz flute. She has studied Bansuri (Hindustani) and Native American Flute. Her studies in improvisational genres give freedom and expression to her playing.

Sound Equipment
Ars Elegante has our own sound system. Wedding ceremonies usually are not amplified unless the venue is all marble, stone, or concrete; however cocktail hours, receptions, dinner parties, open houses, and corporate events usually are. Music at these events is primarily to provide ambiance and is not amplified loud enough to interfere with conversation. There is an additional charge to set up and use the sound system.
