Universe Bridal & Prom: One of Ohio’s Largest Bridal Salons

Family owned since 1991, Universe Bridal & Prom has helped brides find their wedding dress for more than 35 years. Our 10,000-square-foot store in West Lafayette, Ohio, holds hundreds of bridal gowns organized by both style and size, making shopping at Universe a breeze.

Sizes and prices to fit every bride. Our bridal gowns range from size 00 to size 34.   Most gowns are priced from about $999 to $2,999, so you can find a dress that’s in your size and budget.

Say yes to your dress your way. Many gowns are available off the rack, and we can also do special orders.  We offer build-to-order and layaway options. (Special-order gowns can take up to 5 months to arrive, so start early.)

Take an active role in finding your dress. We’re a friendly, non-pushy salon, and you and up to four guests are encouraged to browse our huge selection and choose the gowns you want to try on. Not sure where to start? We’re happy to pull a few dresses for you. Your guests are welcome to help in the fitting room, and our team will zip, clip, and fluff your train as much as you’d like. If you prefer a shopping experience where you wait while a bridal consultant selects the dresses for you to try on, we’re probably not the right fit, and we’d rather you know that up front.  Appointments are two hours, and because we’re a large store, you may see other brides shopping at the same time, which makes for a fun, lively atmosphere.

Worth the drive. We’re in a relaxed, rural setting at Unusual Junction, less than 90 minutes from the Akron area. We’re also home to a huge selection of prom and homecoming dresses, so the whole family can shop in one place.
