A Little Change Could Go a Long Way
If you’ve been on TodaysBride.com recently you might have noticed this lovely little graphic here:
And it is absolutely true! For the past year (maybe plus!) we’ve been hard at work putting together one heck of a site for our brides and vendors to use! We’ll delve into some of our inspiration behind the site as well as some of the new elements you’ll see in future blog posts … but for now we wanted to share the very first component of the new site. (You heard it here first, folks!)
If you’ve visited the site last night/today you may have noticed something a little different — particularly on our Gallery section. (Click it! Please, please click it!) This is actually the first component of the new website that we decided to roll out. We’ll be launching other parts over the coming weeks until we have the homepage and entire website fully ready for viewing — but for the time being, we thought you might enjoy take a stroll through hundreds and hundreds of beautiful photos from local photographers.
So what exactly are the differences between our old gallery and this new one? First, we’ve added several new categories of images. (Hey, we have a large photo library + we know you’re looking at pictures!) We’ve broken down the navigation a little bit more, so it’s even easier to find what you’re looking for as you’re searching through the categories. Aaaand … one of our favorite new features is that you can use our tags to find exactly what you’re looking within each individual gallery. After all, why would you want to waste your time sifting through pictures of mermaid gowns when you already have your heart set on an A-line?
Oh, and did we mention it’s a lot easier to view on your phone or tablet? (As will be the case with the rest of the website as it launches!)
So again, we invite you to take a look at the new gallery portion of our new website for the time being. We can’t wait to bring you the next part(s) of the site — exciting things ahead!
