Halle & Valentino’s Real Wedding | Cleveland, Ohio
Hal and Val’s floral wedding was full of vibrant colors and happy smiles. They had an intimate wedding in Arizona, but returned to Cleveland to have a reception with friends and family. They used local vendors and an abundance of bright colors to tie this unforgettable wedding together.

How they met
They first crossed paths at a bar nestled in the heart of Akron, introduced by mutual friends during a casual night out. What began as polite conversation soon transformed into a lasting bond. Now, 8 years later, they they stand hand in hand, ready to begin a new chapter while surrounded by the same friends who brought them together. Celebrating not just a wedding, but the journey that led them here.

GET THE LOOK: Her
The bride wore an elegant, romantic-inspired white sleeveless faux-wrap maxi dress from Lulus. She paired it with simple jewelry and a half-up-half-down hairstyle with added gems. Her makeup artist was Makeup by Ahshia.
Bride’s Advice: “Feel free to do things outside of the box – it’s your wedding! Don’t feel like you have to do anything because it’s “traditional”, “trending” or what “most people do”. Plan it however you like it best or fits you as a couple! It makes it more fun!”

GET THE LOOK: Him
The groom had a custom green suit made by Ticknors Men’s Clothier. The engraved initials on the sleeves and New York patterned inner lining make this a one of a kind piece. He paired it with a black tie, brown and black watch, gold chain, and a personalized “V” belt (the first letter of his name.)

The Reveal
Bride’s Advice: “Definitely look into hiring a planner if your budget allows it. Hiring a planner takes way so much stress during the process. Having someone else think of all the logistical components when hosting a huge event really makes things easier. You’re able to focus on the fun details in the design, entertainment, food etc. Plus they can come up with great ideas!”
Lorenda Howell, their wedding planner, allowed the couple to be hands-off with the planning coordinate vendors, themes, colors, and details of their special day. In the picture below, Hal and Val are ecstatic while seeing the reception for the first time.

florals, florals, florals
The couple chose Heather Lilly for the flowers. They wanted multiple bright colors and for flowers to be a big focal point of their wedding. They also made the room smell amazing. The breathtaking florals can be seen at every inch of the reception, from the tables to the DJ booth to the welcome sign. The many flowers fit perfectly with their heartwarming engagement story. Hal and Val went to the botanical garden and towards the end of the tour, Val got down on one knee.

Couple’s Recommendation
“DJ Nick Duve is absolutely amazing! We wanted our reception to be one big party and just for everyone to have fun and get together to celebrate. He totally exceeded our expectations and we had a full dance floor all night! I highly recommend including the drummer and led lights as well. Having an added touch really elevates the atmosphere. I cannot recommend him enough!” – Halle
