Katie & Nolan started dating in high school and endured the struggle thousands of couples face – long distance relationships while one of them is heroically off protecting our country. Their Proposal Story: “I was a director of a preschool in Akron and I had an errand to run one day, and when I came back the lights in the classroom were dimmed and there were flower petals and candles in a line leading to Nolan standing on a blanket with candles around him holding flowers. Leading up to Nolan were some of the children from the preschool holding little signs saying “Will you marry me?”. There was a professional photographer there to capture every moment. It was perfect and I can’t thank Nolan enough for making everything about it so perfect.”
