From the bride: “One of our most memorable moments was simply having all eight of our grandparents present at our wedding. This is a very rare thing, especially with us both being 29 years old. They were all at the church and danced the night away at the reception! During our anniversary dance, Shawna’s grandparents won with the longest marriage of 71 years! Also, having such amazing parents on both sides was memorable for us. Many people can’t say that and have disagreements with future in-laws, but our process was very smooth because of their love and support!”
Advice from her: “Little glitches and unexpected obstacles may surface, but your day will be perfect no matter what happens. You don’t need to spend a fortune on your big day to make it perfect and beautiful! Being surrounded by friends and family celebrating your new marriage is all that matters, everything else is just icing on the cake!”
Advice from him: “If you found the right girl, everything will fall into place. Give input with the wedding planning because they do appreciate it! Planning is a lot of work, especially for the girl, so help make the extra phone calls and appointments whenever possible. Your fiance is bound to have a few freak out moments somewhere along the line. Just be there and support her through whatever comes along!”
