When you slip your hand be- tween your shirt and buttoned jacket, it should fit but be snug. The hem of your jacket should cover your pants’ zipper. With a double-button jacket, the top button should fall at or just above your navel. The top button of a dou- ble-button jacket should never be clasped. If you’re wearing a vest, don’t button the bottom button. Your shirt cuffs should surpass your jacket sleeves by about half an inch.
